NATIONAL COUNCIL

The National Council is the legislative body of CDA where delegates of our State Federations come together to vote on resolutions, learn about what other states are currently working on, hear updates from our Executive Board members, and network with like-minded college students who are passionate about making a difference in their community.

The National Council is comprised of one voting delegate from each state, as determined by each State Federation.

STARTUP CHECKLIST
Creating a new State Federation? We know it can be tricky. Here’s a simplified checklist of everything you should keep on your radar. And don’t worry, CDA will be there every step of the way! Feel free to contact our President or Vice President with any questions you have!

NC RESOLUTIONS FORM
Every member of the College Democrats of America has the right to submit resolutions to be considered by the National Council during its meetings. These resolutions can cover a wide variety of topics, and as the National Council is the highest authority between conventions everything they pass is binding. If you want to make a difference, this is the way to do it!

JUDICIAL COMPLAINTS FORM
CDA maintains a Judicial Complaints form where all individuals, members or not, may submit complaints regarding the national organization, our states, or our chapters to be reviewed by our Judicial Council. If there is anything wrong, we want to always empower people to speak up.
