Stefano Chaves comes from a first-generation household of Brazilian immigrant parents. Having graduated from Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas, Stefano Chaves founded his first non-profit, The All-Star Committee, raising $30,000+ and worked as Vice President of his school’s student council. Now, he is currently a first-year at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a double major in Government/ Political Science and International Relations. He is a member of UT’s Student Government and a Senator in the Senate of College Councils. Prior to his time with CDA, Stefano worked as an intern for criminal defense attorney Annie Scott, as a researcher for Katy City Hall, and attended Texas Boys State. Through his experiences, he quickly learned the importance of initiative and time management in all the work he did. He has dedicated his work every single one of his projects and positions to leaving lasting legacies and impacts on those involved. Stefano is now the current National Chief of Staff for CDA and is beyond excited to help revamp and restart the mission and purpose of the organization and help get CDA back to the powerhouse that it once was!
