MEET THE I.D.E.A. DIRECTOR

MAGGIE GARDINER

Maggie is a recent graduate of West Chester University with majors in Political Science and Gender Studies. She is now working on her Masters of Political Communication at American University. Maggie has always been an advocate for diversity in office, citing her Great-Grandmother as her inspiration to enter the field. She believes that creating a diverse atmosphere within CDA will enrich the organization’s perspectives. A diverse leadership and membership base brings a range of experiences, ideas, and insights that are vital for shaping policies and strategies that address the multifaceted challenges facing our nation. If elected, Maggie will highlight the intersectional identities of each individual in CDA and make sure that everyone has a voice. Maggie has worked tirelessly in the IDEA Director position in this last term to foster a more inclusive environment and hopes to continue to do so in the next term. In her free time, Maggie loves listening to music, especially Phoebe Bridgers, going to concerts with her best friend, and rock climbing with her boyfriend.
